Jenelle joined Dream Camp in 2007 as an incoming first grader and remained in the camp until the High School Mentor In Training (MIT) program. During her time at Dream Camp, she made amazing friends and connections that she still has today. As a camper, she always enjoyed going to camp because of the various activities and special guests. A few of her favorite memories as a camper include the game show, Summer Survivor, Zumba, the talent show, and Cooking. The MIT program allowed her to grow and step out of her comfort zone. The leadership skills that she learned helped her become the person she is today. She always looked up to her counselors. The continuous love and support they provided inspired her to follow in their footsteps! Jenelle now works as a counselor at the same camp she enjoyed as a child and teen. She enjoys meeting new campers each year, bonding with the staff members, and making sure that the campers are always having a fun time at camp!
